INSPIRED

The world as seen through the eyes of the exploring lyricists, courageous poets, curious artists, and ordinary human beings that inspire me.

These words could not ring more true for me at this point in time. Fitzgerald's words not only inspire me to be courageous in the pursuit of the 'me' that I was born to be, but they also give me license to start over now.

Imagination.:

I have been reading about Albert Einstein lately, and he seems to truly be not only one of the most incredible humans of all time (as we all know) but I find his personality (as depicted by his family's accounts and his quotes) ultimately fascinating! I wonder what it might have been to have a conversation with him. In any case, this particular quote could never be more fitting for where I am in my life right now - feeling that I have so much to learn and yet thriving on the licence to just go for it. Thank you Mr. Einstein!

I found this quote at the beginning of Antjie Krog's book, Begging to Be Black. It is difficult to articulate how profound this statement, and the truth that it holds, is to me and the journey that I am on.

The wise words of Henry Ward Beecher. This is one of my most favourite quotes of all time, and I try adopt these words into my every day trials and joys. Beecher was a Congregationalist priest, a social reformer and a great speaker. He is known for his support of the abolition of slavery in America and for his prominence on God's love.
